dc.description.abstract |
Since the Government of Pakistan’s 1986 withdrawal of the 12.5 % export rebate, EMCO had been facing difficulties in quoting a low price to remain competitive in its export markets, and had not been able to secure any new orders for the second half of 1986. With only one order in hand in the first quarter of 1987, EMCO had actively lobbied with the government to restore the export rebate but with little success. |
