dc.description.abstract |
This case is about a textile spinning mill. The senior management was worried about the company’s quality performance and felt that the company could overcome its financial problems if it can could its quality. The senior management lacked an understanding of process variation; hence, they were demanding control over quality that was not practical. On the other hand the managers in the company were not educated enough to be able to distingui sh controllable from uncontrollable variation. |
