In September 1987, Karim Buksh, the Managing Director was confronted with important strategic decisions regarding pricing and refund policies of the company. The competitors were trying to undercut H Karim Buksh Limited in order to build their own clientele. While Karim Buksh felt there was no immediate threat to the store, he decided to review the pricing and refund policies and practices to ensure competitiveness as well as profitability. en_US
