dc.description.abstract	Descon was a fully integrated engineering and construction company providing a wide range of technical services within and outside Pakistan. The company planned to improve its existing management information systems, particularly the cost analysis reports which did not present timely information on occurrence of costs on projects. A "Rapid Cost Monitoring System" had been suggested to monitor costs. Teaching Purpose: to enable students to analyse the issues in design, development, and implementation of information systems.	en_US
