Glaxo's product quality monitoring schedule was based on statistical testing procedures for samples taken randomly from each batch of manufactured products. Fateh Khan, a senior executive officer of the quality control department at the company, had to evaluate the production performance of the last phase of the Quality Assurance Programme for health food drinks.
