Abstract: This case deals with a group incentive pay plan, which the company adopted about two decades ago. The plan had been very successful so far. However, the plan was not that attractive to employees at the managerial levels anymore. The concepts involved in this case deal with the pros and cons of the pay plan. The case can also be used to discuss the pros and cons of individual incentive pay plans.
